The coffee shop and deli Chimes, make their dishes sing. They are a perfect recipe of excellent coffee, home cooked food and home baked goods with great customer service in a homely atmosphere.
At Chimes, all dishes are prepared fresh daily in-house using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. For example, the dish they cooked and demonstrated in their video; the chicken skewers that are served alongside a zesty lemon salad and homemade flatbread.

All of the ingredients used at Chimes are sourced from local suppliers, including the butcher, the egg man and local vegetable shop, ensuring that each dish is not only delicious, but also supports the community.
So, how is this mouth-watering dish prepared? First, the chicken is marinated in a special blend of herbs and spices and left to rest for 20 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.
Then, the bread is prepared by kneading and resting the dough for 15-20 minutes, before being divided into portions and cooked in hot oil. Meanwhile, the salad is prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and dressed with a tangy lemon dressing.
The chicken skewers are then cooked on a hot plate for 15-20 minutes until perfectly tender and juicy. But you could grill, oven bake or BBQ the skewers.
Finally, the dish is assembled by placing the hot, freshly-cooked flatbread on the plate, topping it with the salad and chicken skewers and finishing it off with a dollop of garlic parsley yoghurt and a few garnishes.
