A local art club are thrilled to be hosting their next exhibition in Portadown Town Centre. Loughside Art Club which was established in 2019 are setting up their newest exhibition at Millennium Court. Featuring the talented local art group, Loughside Art Club  the exhibition aims to captivate art enthusiasts and community members alike. Join them on Saturday, 20th April at 2pm for the grand opening event.

Loughside Art Club has become a real hub for local artists in the Portadown and Craigavon area since its establishment in 2019. The AEON Community Arts Centre on Lurgan’s main street is the perfect spot for artists to connect, create, and grow together.

This exhibition will showcase an eclectic collection of artwork with various mediums and subjects, reflecting the diverse talents and interests of the club’s members.

The exhibition will be led by the talented artist facilitator, Dwyer McKerr. You’ll get to see an incredible range of artwork created with various mediums like pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and acrylic. And the subjects? They’ll cover everything from still life to figures and landscapes. It’s going to be a feast for the eyes.

Arlene Marks, a member of the group, states, “Loughside Art Club is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic growth. This exhibition celebrates and showcases our members’ achievements.”

The dedication of the club’s members to learning and exploring the principles of design shines through in their artwork. From tonal value to balance, composition, colour, and more, their creations are truly captivating. It’s an invitation for everyone to dive into their world of creativity and expression

Opening

The exhibition will be on display from Saturday, 20th April until 18th May. You’ll have plenty of time to visit the exhibition as it will be open from April 20th until May 18th. I’m sure it will be an inspiring experience for art enthusiasts and anyone curious about the local talent.
