“My name is Frances Doran and together with my sister Rhonda we own and run The Bottom Drawer based in Portadown. The Bottom Drawer is a lifestyle store and we offer a carefully curated selection of ladies’ and children’s fashion, along with home accessories, gifts, jewellery, and home fragrances.

“We pride ourselves on offering unique and stylish items that you won’t find everywhere else”.

How did the business start?

“The Bottom Drawer is celebrating its 18th anniversary this October. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the incredible support of our loyal customers.

“We’re so grateful to be a part of the community”.

Why is shopping local so important?

“Shopping local is vital for maintaining the vibrancy of our town. It supports local jobs, fosters a sense of community, and helps create an environment we can all enjoy.

“After all, who doesn’t love meeting friends for a coffee and browsing unique, independent shops?”

What do you love most about Portadown?

“We love the welcoming atmosphere in Portadown. It’s easy to park, and there’s still a great selection of shops and coffee shops, making it a pleasant place to spend time.

“There’s a real sense of community here”.
