Established in 2020, JONES JR Sports based in Portadown reflects a lifelong passion for sports and coaching. Owner CJ grew up in the USA, fully immersed in athletics. He competed in various sports and earned university scholarships for both soccer and track, which laid a strong foundation for his successful coaching career.

CJ’s competitive journey encompasses a wide range of sports, including soccer, futsal, basketball, baseball, American football, and track events like the 100m, 200m, and 400m, along with cross country and swimming. This extensive background highlights not only his athletic ability but also his deep understanding of different sports.

With 14 years of coaching experience, CJ holds several qualifications, including UEFA C for soccer, and certifications in futsal, Olympic handball, field hockey, track & field, strength & conditioning, and functional fitness. His expertise enables him to adapt coaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of athletes.
