Cathy’s journey in the nursing field began when she graduated from Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in 1994 with a Diploma in Nursing. This marked the start of her career as a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Initially, she focused on cardiac nursing, where her passion for this specialty grew. During her time at QUB, Cathy furthered her education and earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Specialist Practice in Cardiology nursing.
Cathy developed a strong passion for facial aesthetics in recent years. Building on her extensive experience, knowledge, and skills, she completed both Foundation and Advanced aesthetic courses with Array Academy in Belfast.
This dedication to furthering her expertise led her to start her own business, CCB Aesthetics, in 2021. Through CCB Aesthetics, Cathy aims to provide high-quality aesthetic treatments while prioritizing safety and client satisfaction.

Since 2010, Cathy has served as a Heart Failure Nurse Specialist, a role she continues to fulfill today. Her extensive experience in this area has allowed her to make significant contributions to patient care.
In 2015, she expanded her qualifications by becoming an Independent Prescriber, enabling her to safely prescribe treatments for other non-prescribing aesthetic nurses.
