Banbridge is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for a musical extravaganza featuring the talented Ryan McMullan headlining this year’s BuskFest. This renowned international busking competition, marking its 20th anniversary, draws crowds from all over Ireland, offering participants a chance to compete for a £3000 prize and perform at the Stendhal Festival.
The spotlight shines on Co Down’s own rising star, Ryan McMullan, a gifted singer-songwriter who has shared stages with music icons like Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, and Kodaline.

Registration remains open until 21st June for the event on 22nd June, where musicians, bands, solo artists, and street performers will fill Banbridge with music. Winners will not only secure a spot at Stendhal Festival but also vie for prizes like £1000 for the Overall Winner and category awards such as Best Band, Individual, and Junior.
