Get ready for an epic weekend of music at the Master McGrath Festival 2024! It’s back and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendars for May 24th and 25th because Brownlow House in Lurgan is the place to be.
This festival is all about celebrating local talent and paying tribute to some of music’s biggest names. On Friday, May 24th, you’ll enjoy incredible performances from Jason Hughes and Band otherwise known as Ireland’s answer to Garth Brooks.
The 45-year-old presenter of Downtown Country has not only has he won a CMI award, but he has also toured Ireland, Europe, and the USA. These may be the hottest tickets in town as Garth Brooks Jason Hughes has sold out concert across Europe and America.
The evening will be hosted by the hugely funny Compere and Comedian Gary Wilson. Co. Mayo Country star Stuart Moyles will also appear on the night.
But that’s not all! On Saturday, May 25th, get ready to rock out to some amazing tribute bands. They’ll be bringing the sounds of music legends right to the stage at Brownlow House. And while you’re enjoying the fantastic music, don’t forget to check out the food and drink stalls for a tasty treat!
With a backdrop as stunning as Brownlow House aka Lurgan Castle, it’s no wonder tribute acts up and down the country were lining up to perform. With the Saturday festival kicking off at 4;30pm, the main stage will come to life with the talents of Doghouse Belfast (Tribute to Ska/2Tone), Roll with it blasting out the tunes of Oasis, Q the Quo, a five-piece tribute to Status Quo, once described as “the greatest rock’n’roll band in the land”.
The entertainment continues on into the evening with the Paul Weller Experience, EZ/DC and Zac Mac. Along this alongside the Superfly Fun and Soul Belfast DJ Pete Brady.
