What started as a simple hobby for Latisha Bayrajee after finishing school has blossomed into a thriving business venture known as Krafty Keepsakes. At just 27 years old, Latisha turned her passion for creating personalised products for friends and family into a sustainable source of income.
A major milestone for Latisha came on October 19th when she opened her first shop in the Arcade on Scotch Street in Armagh. This new storefront represents a significant transition for the Armagh entrepreneur, who previously operated her business from home.
Latisha’s journey is not just about business; it’s also deeply personal. As a devoted mum to her two daughters, Daniella aged 4 and Arianna aged 2, her girls serve as a constant source of inspiration for her product ideas.
Speaking to UrbanABC Latasha said “When my girls were younger, I struggled to find places that provided this level of customisation. I truly believe that adding a personal touch makes any gift feel extra special, demonstrating the thought and care you’ve put into it”.
What began as seasonal work has now transformed into a year-round business. Latisha has expanded her products to include personalised infant and toddler lines, gifts for the home and clothing, allowing her to cater to a broader audience while continuing to bring her creative vision to life.
Customers can browse and place orders directly from her shop, which also serves as her workspace. In addition to in-store orders, Latisha offers the convenience of placing orders through platforms like Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, eBay, and Amazon.
