As Halloween approaches, ensuring firework safety is crucial, especially for young people. Drumgor Detached Youth Work Project is hosting an exciting event on 8th October, 2024, at the North Lurgan Community Centre. This evening is tailored for youth, focusing on educating them about firework safety in a fun and engaging way. The event aims to address the community’s concerns regarding firework misuse in a manner that resonates with young individuals.

Partnering with Education Authority Engage, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, Policing Service Northern Ireland, Policing Community Safety Partnership, and local agencies, Drumgor Detached promises an interactive session filled with activities and essential safety tips.

This event isn’t your typical safety talk; it’s an opportunity for young people aged 10 to 18 to learn, participate, and voice their thoughts on firework safety. Refreshments will be provided, making it an enjoyable and informative evening for all attendees.
