Portadown Festival Association
With the festival being held since 1922 it has played its part in the development of the arts over the past 100 years and has established Portadown
Nature hotspots, a buzzing new train station and a bustling park and playground are all waiting to be discovered in Portadown.
Set some time aside to breath in the fresh air and walk along the towpath from Portadown to Moneypenny’s Lock. If angling is your passion, you’ll be at home on the stretch of the River Bann from Point of Whitecoat to Lough Neagh, which is home to pike, perch, roach and bream.
Pay a visit to People’s Park, which has recently had a multi-million-pound makeover and offers a brilliant family day out. Full of unique attractions, the play park includes a zip wire, pirate ship, and a climbing pyramid, while its themed gardens are perfect for peaceful walks.
There’s culture a-plenty at the Millennium Court Arts Centre, too, which offers touring exhibitions and art activities for adults and children alike.
