Tell us a bit about yourself and the business.
“I’m Dana Mulholland, and I’m an Assistant Manager at Clubworld Travel, located on Newry Street in Banbridge. My role involves helping people plan their perfect getaways and I absolutely love it.
“Clubworld Travel has been crafting dream holidays for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on offering a personal touch, ensuring every journey is smooth and unforgettable”.
How did the business start?
“Clubworld Travel first opened its doors in Lurgan over 35 years ago. We’ve grown to include seven branches across the Northern Ireland. Over the years, Clubworld Travel has expanded to become one of Northern Ireland’s leading travel companies”.
Why is shopping local so important?
“It offers a more personal experience, without a doubt. When you shop locally, you’re not just a number. You’re dealing with people who know you, who understand your needs.
“We take the time to get to know our customers, understand their preferences, and tailor our recommendations accordingly”.
What do you love most about your town?
“Banbridge is a relatively small town, and that’s part of its charm. There’s a strong sense of community here; everyone looks out for each other. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes it a lovely place to live and work.
“The town centre is a great mix of local businesses, well-known high street stores, and cosy cafes. There’s always something going on, with local events and festivals throughout the year that support businesses, promote Banbridge, and increase footfall to our businesses. It creates a vibrant atmosphere and makes Banbridge a great place to visit.”
