The Countryside Alliance Awards are back, and this year, the public is invited to play a crucial role in determining the winners. This exciting stage of the awards allows everyone to support their favourite local businesses and individuals who contribute to the vibrant rural life.

With the nominations now tallied, The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough has none less than six nominations across four categories.

The next phase is all about public participation. Voting will open on Monday, giving you the chance to cast your vote for the businesses that you believe deserve recognition. Follow Countryside Alliance on Facebook to vote

Established in 2007, these awards aim to recognise and honour the hard work, dedication, and contributions of individuals and businesses in rural communities, particularly in the areas of food, farming, and the countryside.

The awards cover several categories, including Best Butcher, Best Farm Shop, Best Local Food Producer, and Best Rural Enterprise, among others.
